Circle of Care Privacy Policy

Circle of Care is a shared medication-logging app for families caring for a child with congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) or similar conditions. This policy describes what the app stores and how we handle it.
What we collect
- Account information: your email address and name, which come from the sign-in provider you choose (Google or Apple).
- Child profile: the child's first name, date of birth, sex, and optionally gestational age at birth, which the family enters to support the app's schedule and growth-chart features.
- Care records entered by the family: medication schedules and logged doses, sick-day status, feeds, weight/length measurements and custom tracker entries, emergency contacts and care-plan notes.
- Device push tokens, which we use solely to deliver dose reminders.
The app collects nothing else: no advertising identifiers, no analytics tracking, no location, no contacts, no photos.
How we use it
We use it exclusively to provide the app's function: keeping one synchronized care record for the family members you invite, and sending dose reminders. We do not sell data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any tracking.
Where it lives
We store data in Google Firebase (Firestore) and protect it with security rules, so only the care-circle members the family has invited can read or write a child's records. Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) contain technical error data, not care records.
Children's data
Parents and caregivers enter care records about their child. The app has no accounts for children and collects no data directly from children.
Sharing within the app
The other members of your care circle can see the entries you log, with your name on them. That is the app's purpose. If you leave a circle or delete your account, entries you previously logged remain part of the child's medical record, like any shared care log, and keep your name on them.
Deleting your account and data
You can delete your account inside the app: open Settings and tap Delete account. This removes your account, profile, and device tokens, and removes you from your care circle. If you are the only member of a circle, the circle's records become permanently inaccessible. For complete removal of residual records, or any data question, contact us at the address below and we will take care of it within 30 days.
